Operations Training Specialist

Responsible for fostering a learning culture within Formica North America. Works to build high performing work teams and optimize the manufacturing process through training. Collects data, evaluates and analizes team and individual activities and performance in order to develop materials and training initiatives to address gaps. Provides guidance and coaching as needed. Tracks and monitors progress towards training requirements and objectives.

Requirements include demonstrated experience all aspects of training within a manufacturing environment in areas such as onboarding, work techniques, process mapping and work instruction, implementing Lean philosophy and tools. Hands-on experience leading successful kaizen events and six sigma projects. High teaching proficiency to be displayed by successfully conveying technical concepts, processes and procedures. Candidates must have a relevant degree. Excellent leadership skills and verbal/written communication ability is required.
